Young FamilyWe offer our services to people of all ages.  It is especially important for children around the ages of 1-2 to have their first dental visit with Mom or Dad.  At this visit we can check their growth and development and discuss with you how to maintain proper oral hygiene to prevent complicated dental problems as they grow.

Preventative Dental Care

Proper oral hygiene and regular wellness exams with your dental care providers are not only important to keep your mouth, teeth, and gums healthy but also your entire body.  How often you should visit your us will be determined according to your current health, your oral hygiene habits at home, and how you respond to treatment.

Treatment for Gingivitis and Periodontal Disease

Gingivitis is infection and inflammation of your gums that can make them red, swollen and bleed.  Fortunately, gingivitis can be reversed with excellent oral hygiene and checking with your dentist and hygienist on the cause and necessary treatment.

Periodontitis usually occurs when gingivitis has progressed until the bone supporting your teeth is lost.  This can happen in any of the 192 sites around your teeth, which should be monitored at least once a year.  Periodontal disease is not reversible but it can be controlled.

Fillings and Crowns

White or tooth-colored fillings are what we frequently use to stop cavities and replace small amounts of tooth structure.  These white fillings or composites are bonded to your tooth and with proper care, seal out the bacteria to prevent a cavity in the same area.

Crowns are important to replace large amounts of tooth structure that was lost due to cavities, fractured teeth, severe wear, or to protect your teeth from fracturing after root canal treatement.  The great news is that with CEREC® technology, many times you can have your permanent crown completed in one visit.  These crowns are 100% porcelain which means they look, feel, and wear like your natural teeth.
