At your first consultation we will discuss what you would like to improve about your smile and the kind of results you would like to see. If your case is suitable for Invisalign treatment, a treatment plan is mapped out with your goals in mind. Then, pictures and impressions or molds are taken of your teeth and sent with your treatment plan to Invisalign. The impressions are digitized so that they can be placed in a computerized 3-D model of your teeth. With this virtual representation of treatment, we can review your timeline of treatment and how many aligners you may need to wear. You can see your teeth before, during and after treatment is complete. When approved, Invisalign will start fabricating you customized aligners and you can start treatment in four to six weeks. The number of aligners varies for each person, a full set typically includes 20-30 aligners or 10-15 months of treatment. You will wear your aligners at all times, only removing them for eating and drinking. We will monitor your progress every four to six weeks and give you the next set of aligners. During the entire treatment process, you will be able to watch your teeth gradually move into place. Your smile will, little by little, move into something you’d like to show off.
